Mesquite Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Felix Torres Named NATIONAL WINNER Community Division – Orchestral Performance

MESQUITE, TX — The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts, founded by David (Volosin) Katz, is honored to announce the 2025 national winners, runners-up, citation recipients, and honorable mentions of The American Prize in Orchestral Performance. Now celebrating its fifteenth year, The American Prize continues to be the nation’s most comprehensive series of contests in the performing arts.

Among this year’s distinguished honorees, Felix Torres of Mesquite, TX, and the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra have been named The American Prize Winner in Orchestral Performance (Community Division), 2025.
